Vintage Camel “Smooth Character” T-Shirt Accessories I'm not here to repeatCamel Cigarettes introduced their mascot, Joe Camel, in 1987. Joe was around for ten years until the company pulled the plug on him simply because he got too popular. Children recognized Joe Camel more than Mickey Mouse.
